Re: struggling to get found in searches??

Depending on your keyword searched, there's problems with "clumping" where certain shops will dominate many front pages pushing all other shops that are relevant for the same terms. It's being discussed heavily at the moment both in Bugs & Discussions.

I'm not saying it couldn't be other issues, I didn't look at your shops. But there are search woes amongst us.

Re: struggling to get found in searches??

You would only need to worry about clumping if you were relying on a few broad searches for the majority of your sales or views (never a good idea). Most of your stuff is bridal so it's kind of a down period of the year from what I understand.

Other than that I'd read a basic explanation of Etsy's relevancy search and start applying the info to listings one by one; this team: https://www.etsy.com/teams/10713/etsy-relevancy-seo-and-stats has a pretty good and thorough explanation in one of the pinned threads.

Don't rely on Etsy alone, but work on your marketing.
Marketing is defining your target market(s) online and offline and find ways to hang out with them, so they can learn about your shop (without you spamming them).
"Having" Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter, is like "having' e-mail when it comes to marketing/promoting your shop. It doesn't mean a thing if you are not reaching your target market.

Re: struggling to get found in searches??

October is SERIOUSLY SLOW for bridal stuff (I am in the wedding invitation business) - look for it to pick up in April/May, and I'd suggest adding to your listing at least an approximate time that people can expect their item to be made, instead of just "Made to order, please allow for making time. Thank you. " (you could say something like "my turnaround time is usually 1-2 weeks, please contact me for more details) because brides are often on a tight timeline.
