strange keyword stats

Have any one figured outh how to use the stats to improve your key words and titles? For me they change a lot, I can only deduct that the more items and key words the better. Todays key words confused me profoundly, someone apparently ended up in my shop from google searching "fuzzy legwarmers", I'm quite sure I don't have any such keywords or title or mention it in a descriptions.

I recomment using the new shop stats to determine what people are searching here rather than on Google. I, like you, have never gotten anything terribly accurate according to how people have searched and found me. Howeveryou can use Google Adwords and search for words that are relative to your shop and how often they are searched. For you that may be keywords like 'titanium earrings' or 'wearable art' or 'sculptural jewelry.' You just have to go to Keywords/Adwords, and type in such phrases and it will show you how often they're searched.

I know that may have been a bit confusing, but I hope it helped.

You are probably seeing key words that someone typed in, which eventually led them to your shop. But they might have clicked through several other pages to get to yours, perhaps other Etsy shops, etc.

Thank you Jessica, I look in to google adwords, great key word suggestions I don´t think I used wearable art or 'sculptural jewelry as key words yet.

the "fuzzy legwarmers" was from shop stats. I think it is difficult to deduct much from the stats, but perhaps it´s uses will be more apparent over time
