Re: stats page

330
198 shop views
132 listing views

In the two weeks I've had my shop of 100 items open. I got a lot more views when I hit 80 items and I advertise everywhere every day. I also had to tweek my pictures 4 times and fix my tags.

In other words, a lot of items, a lot of work. More time will help me too.

Re: stats page

Hello!

There really is no "average," and views really vary shop by shop. Generally, the more items you have, the more views you will get. I saw a big jump in my views the closer I got to 100 items. But I still have a ways to go because most printable shops have several hundred items.

I also found that my views and sales would jump more as I improved my tags, titles, and photos.

Looking at your shop - you only have 13 items. I would continue to add more items so you have more opportunities to be found. I'm still new at figuring out tags and titles, so I can't help you much there. All I can say is do a search for different quilts and pillows, and see what's coming up. Look at who's showing up on the first page of search and see what they're doing to their tags and titles.

I would also work on getting your photos more to be more consistent. Since your items have a lot of detail, I would stick to a more simple background so it's not distracting. Also, looking at this listing, I almost prefer the 2nd, close up, photo of the quilt as I can see the detail right away. This is just my opinion, but I think it's hard to see how beautiful your quilts are when the shots are taken from far away.

I hope I've helped a little! Like I said, I'm still new at a lot of this too! Good luck, you have some beautiful items! :)

Re: stats page

Your tags seem good. Next time you add an item try the keywords "custom" and "customizable" A lot of people like long tags but I prefer a mix. But, you have very few items. Getting found is EXTREMELY difficult.

This item: http://www.etsy.com/listing/106344196/bright-floral-cushion-cover only has 10 of the 13 tags. You need to use all of them.

Where do you advertise? Do you have a deviantart or facebook account? Do you visit the forums everyday?

Re: stats page

Hi Frey,

Every day my views fluctuate drastically for some reason, but in average, I was only getting between 15 and 20 views in a day. I have added more items to my shop in the past couple of days (I just reached 50) and I've already seen a steady increase.
There's no way around it: the more items you have in your shop, the more chances you have of being found... that, and great tags!
Good luck!!

Re: stats page

I don't spend much time worrying about views. Usually on low view days, I get more orders.

That doesn't mean I don't stalk my stats page though. :)

Vary from 50 to 90 per day. When listing items or promoting in teams I usuallygain more views.

Re: stats page

I just checked my shop stats and I'm up to 141 for this month so far but still no sales, I've been favoriting like crazy trying to get more people to favorite and follow me, maybe it's what we sell too, if it's not trendy or what people are looking for it doesn't work, anyway I'm going to persevere for awhile longer, add more items but at one point if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, maybe selling online isn't the answer.

Re: stats page

No rhyme or reason - for me it's hit or miss!
Yesterday shop views at 176 and listing views at 153...
Today shop views at 37 and listing views at 10!

I know I get more traffic over the weekends so I try to actively participate in forums, teams and create treasuries during the week to help with views/sales.

Here's hoping the holiday season brings us all a little bit of cheer and a lot of sales!

Re: stats page

I tend to average around 200 views a day, but it was much lower than that when I had less than 100 items. Yesterday specifically I had:

71 Shop views
166 Listing views
Total: 237 views

Try adding backlinks to your descriptions, I had a bump in views from that. It's always good to get people looking at more of your listings, means they are interested and may be more likely to find something to buy. If you take a look at my listings you'll see I backlink to my shop main page and other sections as well.

Good luck!
Rachel

Re: stats page

I was averaging around 200 views a day but in the last few weeks I've been working on increasing the amount of products, SEO, shop links in within my listings and running a few search ads and google ads.

Yesterday I had over 1000 views in the shop which translated into quite a few sales so it all really does work in the end! :)

Re: stats page

Yes, Etsy seems to be a full time job for me. Try making small things like coasters or potholders that have fun patterns on them (I saw some cute scottie dog coasters the other day). Sometimes people will only buy smaller items that they can afford. Lots of little sales is as good as one big one.

Re: stats page

200-300 on average per day but last week I had a couple of days over 600. I sell hats though and it is getting cold in a lot of places so my views and sales are definately weather dependent. :)
