something to share about Surface International Canada

Few months back, we made a purchase from a Canadian seller.
When she sent the parcel, she asked for air mail but the postmaster sent the package with surface international. Surface International usually could take up to 4-6 weeks.
However, we waited and the package never arrive.

The seller was really helpful helping us finding the package but the postmaster did nothing to help us and they could only ommence a search after 75 days.

Today, we finally got the package!!! After 3 months!!! That is 12 weeks!!!! Double the time they said.

Just want to share with sellers from Canada.
It's really a disaster.

That's terrible! I'm Canadian, and for the most part our postal service is okay but expensive.

I'm glad you finally received your package although it's unfortunate you had to wait so long. I'll be sure to write air mail all over my packages!

yes, luckily we received it :-)

The seller she also put air mail on it but for whatever reason they still sent it as surface. So better make sure when you send it!!

Sadly, surface is notoriously slower than Canada Post say it is. I always use air mail for that reason.

Thanks for sharing this info. I'm Canadian and I usually send parcel by surface as the cost is low. I usually print the shipping label through paypal. It says that it takes 4 - 6 business days. That is about 1 week, which is not too bad. But if Canada Post cannot deliver as they promise, I will consider using air mail. Unfortunitely, we have to pay more expensive shipping to Canada Post for slow services :(
