shipping to Australia

Hello, I just had someone inquire about shipping to Australia. Does anyone know of any customs fees or anything else I should know in advance?
Thank you so much!

Re: shipping to Australia

I live in UK so not sure if this is applicable (have sold to Australia though), but usually customs fees are for the buyer not the seller? Shipping can be costly! Otherwise not much else to say...

Re: shipping to Australia

Your items are only a couple ounces, so you should be able to ship to Australia for $3 or less using 1st class International.

I ship things to Australia and i have ever had a problem:) They are a super country to have listed in your shipping chart especially if you sell small things:)

Re: shipping to Australia

I have shipped items to Australia. My items are heavier and vary widely in size and weight. We have had a few delays but otherwise, good results. Certainly worthwhile to offer. Remember to figure in packaging for weight. It has to be under 4 pounds to ship USPS First Class International, which is pretty reasonable. Get over 4 pounds or longer than 12" on one side and the price goes up dramatically! No custom fees.

Re: shipping to Australia

I ship to Australia several times a week - no customs forms, but it does take longer than shipping to Asian countries to reach. Look into the Priority Flat Rate containers - depending on what you're shipping they can be far less expensive, reliable and convenient!

Re: shipping to Australia

i've shipped to Australia as well, and the best way to figure out the postage is to take the size package and weight to the P>O> and they'll give you an accurate idea of cost..good luck!!
