"Courtesy of" items

This may sound like a silly question but will someone please explain this to me?

Re: "Courtesy of" items

I've never seen this. But I would guess it is an item made by someone besides the shop owner. I have no idea though. :)

Re: "Courtesy of" items

I know it has to do with blogs and being featured, just wanted to be educated on the topic by etsy sellers who have experience.

Thanks for the comment!

Re: "Courtesy of" items

Photographers will sometimes put banner courtesy of LoveStar1 from Etsy. That's if they use one of my banners as a prop. That's my experience with it.

Re: "Courtesy of" items

It's used in childrenswear when you send outfits to a modelling agency and they send you back photos in exchange for the model keeping the merchandise....the seller gives credit to the photographer by stating "photos courtesy of...."

Hope that makes sense....

Re: "Courtesy of" items

"Courtesy of" means "I got this item for free/on loan."
