questions about coupon codes

can a buyer in my shop use 2 coupon codes at once? I would love to be able to do free shipping and a percent discount all at once, but i can't create one single code that does that.

You can't use 2 coupons at once, but you can offer a second shipping option, perhaps free shipping on just a few items that you want on sale. Coupon codes can be a way to find out how effective promotions are. Perhaps offer free shipping on your blog and a percent discount on your facebook page. Hope this helps.

I think the idea above is the only practical option that would work for combining free shipping with an additional % off coupon. Wish I could come up with something else.
