question regarding feedback

Hello team members! I had a situation where I purchased some items from an etsy shop and there were some issues with international shipping that caused some major delays in shipping. The shop owner was great and kept in communication with me the whole time. It took a few months for the order to arrive. When it did I went to leave feedback and the order was no longer showing up in my "items awaiting feedback" column. Is there a limit for leaving feedback? I convo'd the seller and let her know I had received the order but I'd really like to leave positive feedback too. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would leave positive feedback since the shipping part was neither of your's fault. I would think solely on the shop experience itself.

I believe there is a limit although I'm unsure what it is. I had a feedback waiting to be left for someone I didn't want to leave feedback for (I didn't care for the way things were handled when a mistake happened on their end). The feedback request has finally disappeared, but that has been several months.

Maybe you could post this in the Etsy Bugs group. An Admin there might be able to help you.

There is a limit. I don't for the life of me know what it is, though I want to say something like 120 days (4 months).

It did take 4 months so maybe that's why it disappeared. I'll convo the seller again and let her know that I would leave positive feedback if I could. I'll check the etsy bugs thing too. Thank you for your suggestions!

Unfortunately it's not a bug, although if you tell the admins over there about the shipping problem they may be able to help. I'm glad everything worked out well, even if there were some minor hiccups. :)
