Through the ordeal I am going through to raising money for a stray (http://greyladycat.blogspot.com/) , I am invigorated and inspired to give a portion of my sales here to animal organizations that work with stray pets.

I was wondering, if I stated this on my shop - would you put it in your policies, shop announcement, etc? What organizations (animal or otherwise) do you support with your shop sales?

I'd probably expect it in either your shop announcement, or your profile. Just be sure to follow Etsy's guidelines if you name a specific organization.

Cute buttons! I would state in my announcement, policies and in the listing. Overkill? Maybe, but I'm OCD like that. Good luck!
