pinterest. how do you use it for business?

Ok. I have a personal account for pinterest. I love pinterest.

I am just really confused on how u r supposed to use it for etsy?

Do you pin stuff? Do you pin ur own stuff?

By pinning. Do you just use it like your own account and then have a board for your own stuff that's on etsy?

That's what I do, but I also pin all kinds of other stuff to hopefully get people seeing my name and looking into my Clever Ruthie board, where they can see my items.

I love pinterest and I already pin like crazy, so I have a couple hundred followers. I just add my stuff to relevant boards and hopefully some of my followers will repin.

I also love Pinterest and have a difficult time getting off it! So much to explore and admire. I have both a personal and business account. The business account I started up a few months ago but I've not done much to it as of late. As far as using it for my Etsy shop, I just pin a few of my things to a general mosaic board I started. I do get views from there whenever I use it - no sales though. Yet....

i just have a personal account.
i mix in the etsy stuff on all of my boards, ideas, stuff to buy, diy, pictures from home, recipes all mixed together. you can get really creative with your boards.
i love it.

I love Pinterest and pin all the time. I don't use Pinterest exclusively for business, I have lots of board for all kind of things. I pin my items from etsy on my bags board, but on shared boards as well. I hope people with similar taste to mine, will find me and start following me.

I created a business pinterest account and I pin most of the things related to arts and crafts since I own a small graphic design and art studio. It doesn't hurt to add few personal boards but I do make it look as professional as I can.

i have a board for my etsy shop exclusively, and some personal boards, and I also joined two etsy group boards. I have had 4 items sell in the last 2 weeks since I started pinning that have been sitting idle for months with few views.
What is the difference between a personal and business board, I never looked into that

i use pinterest a lot but i can't seem to figure out how to pin on group boards, for example the easy hand made board??

@ ocean glow ~ if you want to pin on a group board you have to be invited to join. you can try following the board, or posting a comment on a pin to get the attention of the "person in charge" of the board. it might say in the header of the board as to how you go about joining. then if you post to that board you are expected to re-pin items from that board to your own boards, like or comment on pins.... each group has its own rules.

I use Pinterst mostly for business. I sell bridal jewelry, so I created different bridal boards with (DIY) tips and (fashion) trends for new brides. And off course I pin my jewelry on to these boards, hoping it will be noticed and increase sales.

I use Pinterest, but not regulary...I have theme boards, for exemple I sell knit accessories, so I made a board for "Hand Knit socks", another for "Knit hats", another one for "Fingerless gloves" and I pin stuff there along with my own items hoping that someone will notice them among all the other similar things. I have regulary followers, but I didn't notice a sale...

I love pinterest! I have several personal boards, a board for my jewelry, and a board for other people's jewelry. Now I'm wondering it would be better to combine my jewelry board with the other jewelry board. I'm wondering if I would get more followers that way. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
