I recently found what was thought to be an awesome way to get A LOT of networking in because the community at this location is HUGE. People from Etsy and all over with many different types of businesses use this as a way of advertisement. It is likesboard through Facebook. It is 5 dollars for a lifetime ad and all you do is like the other pages to move your shop further up in the rankings.
Since I have been using this, my Facebook account had been suspended about 6-7 times saying that I tried to put my password in a site "claiming to be facebook". I was told that it is someone trying to hack my account but it only happens when I use the likesboard.
It just did it again tonight. When I selected to identify friends photos to unlock the photos, it told me that my selections were not accurate enough. I selected a very good friend because they were her photos!!!
My point (sorry) was that even though I think this networking option is great, fast, easy, fun, cheap, maybe worth it, there are some reasons to be careful. Im wondering if anyone else has had this happen??? This does not happen to my account unless im in likesboard. It will randomly pop up that says I need to log into FB and it has actually signed me out of my actual account. Even when I type FB into a new window in the browser it suspends my account. Maybe someone will know what is actually going on?????
Anyway, be safe and have fun. Im wondering if I should even keep using this site. If anyone knows of any others that are pretty cool like this one would be, id love to hear it. Likesboard.com got me over 100 new likes and has increased my traffic quite a bit. Sales have even picked up but worth the hassle of non stop suspensions......I just don't know!!!
