We are close to our first year here on Etsy and we are still trying to figure out things! We gave our shop a makeover and next month we are going to start working on our listings. -descriptions, photos, tags-. The happy surprise for us is that we started getting found on search, the home page, browsing sections and from Google! That uplifts us! 😊 😊 😊
I opened my shop on Etsy Jan 26th and since then I've been having a sale per month which is...err..so far off from my target. But steady, so I suppose I can say April has been business as usual?? :))
I'm promoting everywhere but somehow it seems the more I promote, the less sellers I attract. Tips anyone?
Business is terrible. I had 6 sales last month, but this month..... not a bite! I have been promo-ing my butt off and have added new items. Nothing is working. Lots of views and favorites, but no sales
Abysmal. WAY worse than I did last year. Which I'm actually really worried about, since this is my sole source of income right now. Hopefully it'll pick up soon. : /
Hello, I'm very new, 3 weeks new and trying to figure Etsy out. I searched "how to change views to sales" and this team came up. Is this a place that I can get critiques for my shop, products, and pricing? I would love to hear from someone. I am trying to add pieces daily, I read that I should stay active. I have played with SEO's and I find me but I know what I'm looking for:) As I'm typing I got another "favorite" but do they really do anything? Do views and favorites do anything for your page placements or have any other purpose other than to make us feel good? I appreciate any advice. Thanks
Sales, views, and favoriting all seem suppressed this month. But recent 5-star feedback from happy customers keeps me wanting to keep at it. I'll also be adding some new artworks soon, so I've that to look forward to.
We have more than doubled last Aprils revenue, so no complaints. April - July is typically very slow for our shop. It is a good time to build inventory for the upcoming fall / Holiday season.
My month is still doing well! Just got another sale last night. So up to my third official one for this month! Got two other orders off of Etsy to finish as well. I'm liking this month. :)
I have just started my shop so no sales yet, I have been reading all the tips and the Etsy sellers handbook to make sure I can do everything right for my shop. Any advice on my shop with be greatly appreciated!
I'm not sure why it is so slow, it's like someone turned off a switch three weeks ago. Could it be due to the category changes in ETSY or is it just my shop? What are other peoples experience?
