how do you make to have sales

I opened my etsy store in January and i got just 1 item sold. It is ok? or i do something wrong? How do i get feedbacks? my cusomer for the first item was very pleased and send me thanks message but didn't left any feedbacks:(

It's just the beginning, You can ask for a feed back after the purchase, sometimes it doesn't occur to them to give a feed back. Good Luck!
