google syndication

Hi,
I am wondering if my shop qualifies/should be syndicated for google?
I've been doing pretty well but can't find any links under promote?

They should have done this after just a few sales. You can go to the Etsy Bugs forum and ask them to syndicate you.theyll do it right away.

I've heard syndicate for google mentioned before. What exactly does that mean?

Pretty sure you qualify to be syndicated. But most of the time, even when you are it doesn't happen. The only way I got syndicated was because there was a thread going around upstairs in Bugs with a bunch of people that qualified but weren't syndicated. Admin saw it and syndicated us all. May be worth it to post another thread and see what happens...

Jeanie- syndication is when the items in your shop appear in google shopping...

My stats show views from google. Does that mean I'm sydicated? I never did anything to make it happen.

I just checked and mine hasn't been either, and from what I've heard it should have by now. Jeanie mine shows some google views to but I just tried the link mandyscharms posted ( only with my shop name) and it showed I wasn't, so try that link.

Thank you, Claire. Those articles are helpful. (Thought I had read every policy/article possible when I started with etsy.) I'm sometimes lazy about marking items shipped if it's purchased by someone I know and I hand deliver it. Not marking as shipped is a way to not get syndicated. I just thought that info was for my personal bookeeping.

I am so confused. I contacted Etsy a while back and asked to be syndicated to google but if I search on google shopping for myself nothing comes up. Is there any other way to test if I am syndicated?

I searched for you in Google Shopping, and all of your items showed up. So, it looks like you are syndicated.

TheDorothyDays, go to Your Shop, scrowl down to promotion, there should be a button underneath that section that says syndication. If there is one you are syndicated, if you aren't I don't think you have a button (I can't remember.)

NB You must look at Google Shopping in Google.com , if you look at .co.uk you won't find anything there.

Yeah, I've been wondering this for a long time about my shop. For awhile I thought after every sale "well maybe it's the next one" just like the article says...but when I got to 50 sales and still no syndication, I just gave up.

So thanks for the tips! I'll "bug" Etsy admin about this as well. ; )

Very good information thank you...I had no idea either...I get a few hits every once in awhile from google...but I have no 'syndication' link under the "my shop" and "promote" section so I will check out the Bugs forum, I'm pretty sure I qualify.

NO overdue fees, no open undelivered orders, a number of sales, and good standing and feedback, those are the requirements ya'll.
