gime some ideas (if you have any)

story of this last few days of mine:
1. 'views' are up!
2. 'faves' are up, good as ever!
3. actual sales dropped with 90% of the usual (so now only 10% what it use to be) starting 5-6 days ago.
Any ideas what could this be or why?
I was thinking:
a. The terror plot this morning.
b. Dow is down.
c. Something with Google or Something with Etsy.
d. Everybody started to love my items more but became less fortunate over night - 5 days ago. (this is highly unlikely)
e. People are just waiting for the holidays and this is the calm before the storm.
f. Just the mid month wave.
g. The new search system causing all this.
h. My tags are bad/old and the shop needs a tune-up!
i. I'm crazy and didn't catch something that everybody knows and i don't...

Let me know!

ps.:meanwhile i have time now to catch up with work and friends and time to work on my new designs/shirts, photo shoots etc..

Perhaps i have way too much time to think about unnecessary questions, and I should just shut up and just work harder...perhaps:) hah!

Personally, I would give it a little time. You are being seen, which is most of the battle. I am sure the sales will pick up. Catch up with a friend or two... lol

Just read a huge thread on Facebook with the same issues. It's definitely not just you...apparently quite a few other people, including me, are dealing with the same concerns. If you come up with any ideas PLEASE post them. I'm in a state of panic (mild) too. The ONE idea you had that I do agree could be possible is the impending holidays. Make more treasury lists? Renew more items? Change tags? Make new and more exciting stuff? uggh....who knows?

My shop is on Etsy for 6 years (love you guys! yaay!) and my days are somewhat similar as far as sale numbers and such/ It became almost like a routine, so I notice if there is change pretty quickly. But the last thing I'm trying to be is a Scare-crow! I'm sure it will be OK and all, I was just wondering how many things could responsible for a sale that is happening in the world/in my city. So Please don't panic, we are all in this together:)! for reals!

Yep- I'm in the same boat you are. Views & favs higher than ever & my sales have just plummeted. Weird
