eChecks

Anyone know how echecks work. I've made two sales within the last few days and they both used eChecks. Do you know how these work? I don't offer direct checkout because of my age so people can send in eChecks or use PayPal. If anyone knows how these work that'd be great. Thanks.

Re: eChecks

I have received a couple in the past, it takes about five to seven days before the money is available. I informed the customer that I would mail the item once the echeck cleared and the money was posted to my account. I prefer paypal or credit cards, it seems to be faster and much easier. I never accept paper checks.

Re: eChecks

An Echeck is simply an Electronic Check.

The funds are being transferred from the buyer's bank account into their paypal account and it takes time for the transfer to take place.

I've been taking echecks for years but I don't ship until the payment is cleared in Paypal.

BTW, If you are posting in the public spaces of Etsy including Teams, you should be able to take Direct Checkout..
