buying things based on forum posts

Just so y'all know, posting items and talking in forums CAN pay off. I recently made two impulse buys based on forum posts. Received one of them today and it's the cutest freakin thing I have ever SEEN!

So if you're wondering whether being on teams or posting in forums helps, it does. Especially when there are impulse purchasers like myself lurking around!

Shopping is good and I get inspired, too. There are color combinations I've seen, that I've never tried, then I see something and realize it looks great, and I've got to try something with them. Love etsy!

This is one of the many reasons I LOVE Etsy!! Such a supportive community!! When I am thinking of gifts I want to get as many of them from Etsy as possible! Not to mention all the fun stuff I have on my wish list!! :)

I find that posting here and there work as well, I love the impulse buyers! I have learned that responding to the customers who convo with questions tend buy the higher priced items.

I definately buy from people who post on teams and forums! Much of the time I read for the info, but don't comment. This may be why I buy more than I sell!! LOL!

I don't know if I've ever made a sale through the forums, but I've definitely made some purchases.
Its one reason I like avatars that show products - they will often entice me into a shop.
Like I am dying to go see some of that beach glass but I'm afraid I'll want to buy some and Im broke.

Does anyone else really love selling to other sellers? I do :). I always seem to find the transaction goes smoother which I guess is because we both know what we are doing and how to make it as easy as possible. Other sellers nearly always leave lovely feedback too :D

With SO many shops on Etsy, it's nice to "meet" the personalities behind the shops on teams such as this one. I've purchased some adorable things I never would have found otherwise. It has inspired me to take better photos, restock my shop and hopefully others like the improvements to my shop that are coming. Thank you all!

I'd say that about half my Etsy purchases are from shops I've found on Team Forums (: You can find such great stuff on here!

I love the etsy community and am still daily surprised how helpful everyone is, buyers and sellers alike, that is so great! If you have a question there are always a lot of people who respond, that makes it so special. Meeting people this way makes me stumble on shops with the most amazing products!

yep! Actually I did the same thing. Normally, while I am posting my items on promotion threads, I will also take a look at what others' have posted and favorite them. :)

It does make a huge difference! Although I have not had any sales from it, I have had an insane amount of views and that is better than nothing. It always makes me feel good knowing that people are at least viewing my items.
