best time to post new items

I tend to post items pretty late, like from 9 to midnight. I'm wondering if I should post items based on when people look at my shop via Shop Stats? Mostly people look at it from 3 to 8 at night.

Now that timing means less I would say post when you can and just try to optimize relevancy. That will (as I keep being told) bring in the sales.

I find the same times for me based on my stats. However, I did list a new item within what appeared to be the best time and guess what, it didn't do as expected.....so, maybe Elle is right!

Prior to the relevancy change I found that mornings seem to be best (especially for people looking to create treasury lists) but now I'm not so sure. I think with relevancy that listing (and relisting) at different times throughout the day might be helpful although not very convenient.
But I've only been on Etsy a few months so I'm still trying to figure things out myself... :)

I just post at night when kids are in bed.

I think it is funny that the time you list is the time you see views. It seems to make sense that would be the case. If so, just keep posting. The time I have the most visitors in 3-5 PM, yet somehow I never post then, so... I'd stick with what works for you. Maybe try other times and see if it helps, but just be true to yourself.

I post late at night after putting kids to bed, the relevancy thing has helped me out no matter what time of day I now post!

I usually post them first thing in the morning or late at night... I'm not sure if there is a best time to post items however, this is the only time I have available :)
