Things in Etsy world (as my husband calls it) have been so up and down lately - and of course everybody seems to be having a bit of a low with all the changes being made... I too was feeling rather glum for a couple of weeks there, not as many views, and barely any sales... after my whirlwind entry in to Etsy world at the start of the year - making a sale straight away, I thought 'this is easy'! Then about 3-4 weeks ago, nothing, no sales, barely any views...sigh.
But out of the blue, a heap of sales! In fact, one transaction was about 20 of my items! Wow!!! Huge Smiles!!! Celebration!!!!!
....for those of you who are losing hope, don't. You never know what's around the corner.
During the quiet times, think of it as creating time and tweaking time... just because it's a bit quiet - does not necessarily mean you are doing something wrong - be patient - be confident - be hopeful.
I hope everybody has a little stroke of luck as I did :-)

I did not have any sales in Aug. and have been making the time to be more active here on Etsy - chats, treasuries, even volunteered to be the blogger for the NECTAR team - and yesterday I had a sale!!! I was thrilled as you can imagine:)

Now to find a better balance of creating time and online time and keeping three shops supplied....me thinks I must sleep a little less and stitch a little more:)

Oh well done, me too, suddenly after nothing, I got a custom order for four cardigans and a hat, then one for my clown toilet roll holder. I am so pleased

...Christine, I check mine 100 times a day as well! But it always seems to be, that when I have other things to do (dragging me away from etsy), I come back and get a nice surprise - be it a couple of new likes, a treasury feature or sometimes even a sale!!!
I've learned not to sit and stare at the stats - willing something to happen!
It's so hard to refrain from checking all the time - hoping, wishing and waiting - now I try to make a habit of checking only once every hour or so, keeping in mind that's it's NOT about the stats - it's about being available to respond to any customer queries (tricking my mind) and that way, anything else that happens is a bonus!!! It works most of the time!
