Would you send a business card?

In the middle of making an item for a customers daughter, I am sending it direct to her daughter as it's a birthday gift. Would you include a business card? I can't decide if it's the right thing to do? Do you think the mum would be cross? Perhaps she might not want her daughter to know where the present was coming from or how much she paid? Eeeek! What do you think?

Re: Would you send a business card?

Of course, send a business card. It's a part of the packaging, the brand. She won't know how much her mom spent if there isn't an invoice, as she won't know exactly which listing her mom purchased.

Re: Would you send a business card?

Of course I'd include a business card.

I simply wouldn't include an invoice or anything else that would give away the price of the item.

Re: Would you send a business card?

she might after all like your item that much, she decides to buy some of your items herself and with a business cards she´d not have to ask her mum where she got it from...

Re: Would you send a business card?

I include business cards with all of my packages. You never know if the person would want to buy more stuff from your shop if they love your gift. :D

Re: Would you send a business card?

Sometimes I do, sometimes not. Just depends on if I know where my business cards are and have any at the time.

Re: Would you send a business card?

You can also now print "gift invoices" if you choose to do so. I have been for my ship to gift items and it has garnered me a couple extra sales from the recipient wanting to purchase an additional item from my shop.:)

Re: Would you send a business card?

I would. Its no different to having a label attached to your item really.

Re: Would you send a business card?

I actually thank you for asking this because it never even occurred to me that I should include a business card in my packaging.

makes so much sense that if someone where to ask where (since my stuff usually is involved in parties) the person got my items from and the person could simply show a business card, or in the future not have to try and track me down through through her Etsy purchases to find me.

*ads to list of things to do*

also on that note, where does everyone go to get their business cards? I've used vista print before but not sure if maybe there are better sites to use?

Re: Would you send a business card?

Annie, I got my business cards from Moo.com. They were a fantastic price, great quality and really quick. I had them in around 5 days from order.
