Would you list multiple items individually, or ...

I tend to make my dolls 3 or 4 at a time. They're not identical, since handmade rarely can be that, however they are clearly the same doll. Hope that makes sense!

Would you list each item individually in a separate listing ... or would you list several (maybe all) of the items in one listing and then use the "variations" option to itemize the individual items, Doll 1, Doll 2, etc., so the customer can choose which item(s) they wish to purchase? I would label the dolls by number in the photos so it's very clear which doll is which.

At this time I have a reasonable number of listings in my shop so I'm not in the position of needing additional listings to "beef up" my shop.

I'm not sure about anybody else but with my pins - when I had multiple design options for one button - I used the variations tool. Just because offering multiple designs for one button seemed easier.

With dolls, I guess it would depend on how different they really are. If you took photos of two different dolls and the thumbnails were virtually the same because they didn't look different, I would lump the dolls together as variations. But if they are different, and it takes you a fair amount of time to make each one, list separately. I'm sorry if this doesn't help very much!

Different listings with different descriptions. That will increase the chances of your dolls being found with different search criteria. :)

Yes just copy the item and change a few bits in the description :0) more pieces normally means more views, yey!
