I just got my 200th and 201st sale today. I wanted to give a something extra special in the package of that customer and I saw that she has two other items of me in her favorites. Would it be weird (as in - I'm checking out your faves) to send one of those item as a free gift??

No, it would not be weird in my opinion! I think that is really looking to what the customer would like. Pleasant surprise should be her reaction!

You don't have to tell her that you found it in her favorites anyway. You could just say that, judging by what she ordered you think that she would also like _______.

I tend to send free gifts too. Especially of item sizes, or color types, that have been discontinued.
