Why can't I renew an item?

I'm trying to renew several items but I hit renew and it takes me to "my account" and doesn't renew. Anyone else having this problem? It was fine yesterday.

Are renews going away or something?

Yes, I am trying too :( and it doesn't do renew, very frustrating.

It probably has something to do with this the search ads, hope someone can figure this out. :)

Etsy needs to report to us why we can't renew listings anymore, especially when this older model of renewing listings is the only way to bump yourself up with the search engine still.

Well.. you can bump. Deactivate the ad and relist. Will cost the same .20 just takes more steps. But why didn't they mention this?

Well, I couldn't deactivate an item either. Maybe something is wrong that needs to be fixed? Why isn't deactivate working either?

Relisting works for me now. Stopped my ads and was out less than the cost of a relisting. I'll be spending my money on relisting, or not! I don't think I relist too much until Etsy explains that why all stats went down just 2 days before the launch of Search Ads. Also, will the stats recover, or is this a permanent new kink with the search engine.
