Why can't I get an etsy button on my facebook profile??

Ok, first a warning: I'm from the Atari generation and I have never taken a continuing education class on how to navigate all this stuff on the web. I have installed the etsy app on my facebook page that links the two, and have created a page on my fb for my etsy activity, but people tell me they can't see any evidence of either my etsy shop or my etsy page on my fb.
Why is this????? What can I do???? I don't understand what the point would be in adding a fb page if you can't see anything about it on your fb wall ....

When I linked up my etsy account to my facebook page, the only change was on my Etsy shop (a direct link to like your facebook page should be somewhere near your shop banner), and whenever I made a new listing, I could promote it to my facebook page.

There is another app you can get which shows your etsy shop on your facebook page tabs (alongside your info, about, photos sections etc.). I think this app is called, my etsy... I'll just try find a link for you...

there you go! Simply add it to your page, and make sure you log in to set it up completely - I've had problems before where someone else has beat me to it, and logged in and their shop was set up on my page! Disaster!
