Why I am I in so many treasuries today?

Until today, I have been getting listed in treasuries about once a month.

But today I was listed in at least six treasuries, maybe even more (I've lost count and my activity feed is a little hard to work with). Each treasury featured a different item, and the items featured came from different sections within my shop.

What could have caused this? I'm not complaining - I want to figure it out so that I can make it happen again!

Have you changed anything recently? Pictures, titles, tags? If not, maybe you were just featured in one treasury and other curators looked at your shop because of that and decided to include other items in their treasuries. Was there a treasury team tag on any of the treasuries? In any case, it can only be a good thing. Congrats!

Did you enter a treasury contest or thread recently?

The same used to be true for me - very few treasury listings, but I added one of my items to a treasury thread and it, and similar items from my shop, have been featured in treasuries 4 or 5 times in as many days.

I honestly liked your items and I went to school in Ely :) I go through current threads to find items for treasuries. Happy you ended up in so many! It's been awhile since I have been put in one.

If your stuff is good, it will be found and included in many treasuries.
One of my item sits in more than 100 treasuries.

PS: when you go to Treasuries (from Etsy's front page link), you can type your shopname in the search bar and find all treasury lists you are featured in.

BeaG - thanks for the tip, I did not know that. I counted seventeen treasuries for me this weekend. WOW. How fun! (no sales though . . )

I added some new items tonight and ALREADY in 2 treasuries! Crazy! I think it's rubbing off on me now. 17 that's a ton! Hopefully it will help with sales in the future!

that happened to me once, just after on of my Treasuries was on FP. i think people wanted to feature me just in case i returned the favor and i made them appear on front page. but that has not happened again. it's difficult to get there.

It's still happening. 14 within the last 24 hours. It is the strangest thing. I see no explanation in the tags, but there has got to be something going on.

Wow, I hope you at least get a sale out of it! I'm in the process of re-branding my shop. Getting frustrated and thinking of starting from scratch. Keep up the treasury craziness!

Wonderful to hear! I was wondering the same thing today...on a much smaller scale, though. I was selected for 2 treasuries today! That's never happened. I HAVE been changing my titles and descriptions lately on the advice of one of my teams, so maybe that's why. I know that my views are much higher than they were and my sales have increased...especially on the mother-in-law magnets that we have listed.
