Which would attract attention?

I need your help!

I am thinking of changing my sections from just necklaces, bracelets, earrings and sets
to
jewelry under 15, jewelry under 30, jewelry under 60, jewelry under 100

Do you think this would be a change for the better?
If you enter my store...what would you prefer?

"under 15, 30, 60, 100" reminds me of age :P
May be you can have one section of really cheap items for those who is looking for small gifts.

I personally like it better the first way... categorized by necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. When I shop for jewelry I don't automatically shop by price.

You could do an experiment and try it for a week to see if you get more section views.

One thing to keep in mind when titling your sections is that Google picks up on section titles. So try to be more specific in your titles, using the keywords that get you the most views in search. So for example, instead of "necklaces" use "beaded necklaces" or "gemstone necklaces" or whatever suits your items. This will make your sections more specific and searchable on Google, whereas "necklaces" will get buried.

If I was looking for a necklace, its price wouldn't matter to me so much. The first way would be much more helpful!

I'd stay with the necklace, bracelet, etc. Since I don't wear earrings (or often bracelets), I know when I'm looking at jewelry on the web, I find it somewhat frustrating to try and sort through all that I don't want to see to find what I do want.

While people may not be aware of it, they can always use the sort function to sort by lowest (or highest) price within your categories.

Thank you R Rizzi! That was a good advice on the google picks up section. i earlier had it as ethnic necklace, ethnic bracelet.

I think putting prices in there will really limit people. How many times have you bought something that cost more than you intended to spend?

Good tips! I guess putting up the price again on the sections may hinder sales actually!
