It is helpful to write out your goals, but be sure to look at it again every so often and update it as necessary! Things may change often in the beginning -- be open to that change :)
Also be sure to check out the local small business administration in your area; the sba office in my area offers a class on writing a business loan it is very helpful. Good luck!
