I'm a bit confused, because Etsy shop stats says I get around 100 views per day on average (25 shop views, 75 product views), but craftopolis gives me different numbers. Yesterday was special, I got 82 shop views and 177 listing views according to Etsy, but 101 shop views and 664 product views according to craftopolis. I certainly don't spend my day viewing my own products, so I don't know whats the reason for this huge difference.
Mine are all over the place like a roller coaster! a week it looks like @450, lately most are directed from teams. but my sales have gone up a little :-)
I have around 250-300 views a day, weekend is always low views (under 100). Still and always working on tags- SEO- relevancy for my shop. Great views, lots of hearts on my items and shop, but it has been more than a week without any sales.
Oh my god, some people have so many views! I am happy if I get about 20 and I think the most I have ever had is 50ish. I have been going for a couple of months, and am still waiting for my first sale. I thought my titles were fairly good, but if anyone has time could they take a look at my shop and tell me what they think. I know I could do with more stock, which I am working on but is time consuming!
I probably average around 70 views per day. (my shop's been open about a month). I've been over 100 a couple times and that was exciting, and I've been MUCH lower too. But my views are directly related to what I am doing for my shop! If I make some treasuries, "favorite" many other items and shops, add people to my circle, etc....then my views and hearts are much higher. Clearly, it's a "returned favor" kind of thing - I heart them, they heart me back. I was burned out for a few days and did NOTHING and the views dropped dramatically...after about 3 days of little to no activity from me they were down to about 5. It was a good experiment for me.
I think part of it depends on what you are selling. I sell original paintings and I really don't think there's a huge market for that on etsy. My items aren't cheap, people aren't going to buy on a whim. I'm okay with that - I'm willing to wait.
More than views....I really like to get views FROM somewhere other than Etsy. It's very rare for me...usually no more than one per day. But if I get a view coming from Google, I feel more encouraged that an actual "shopper" has found my store, rather than other well-meaning sellers. I LIKE views and hearts from other sellers, and I do appreciate them - don't get me wrong. It's nice to know people are looking!!! But I feel like a true sale is going to come from a "search" rather than from seeing my work in an activity feed. but you never know...so I keep trying to get my stuff seen by as many people as possible every day....
I just don't understand how some of your get well over 100 views a day. I would be thrilled with 50 views a day. I have worked on titles and tags. I am working right now on updating and improving some of the pictures.
The views that you are getting - are they shop views or listing views? I would be happy to get 50 shop views in any one day.
I do not have a Facebook page - just because. I do belong to teams and have a couple of circles. Have not yet created a treasury because I am still not convinced that it will help get me sales or even views.
Hmm, my views vary. So far I've had 20 today, but my shop's been open less than a month and I've only got 12 items. It's so crazy that some of you are getting daily views in the hundreds. That's great!
My shop views and listing views vary widely. One day it is 100 the next it is 15. I also notice somedays my 'listing views is way more than shop views and somedays it is the other way around. I am not sure what to track to see what makes the difference, other than new listings.
WOW! Some of you get so many views! That' s great! You must be doing something right! I don't get anything like that. I only have a few things in my shop and not very many views. I would be so excited to see all those views. I need to make more items and see if that makes a difference.
Does anyone understand Etsy relevancy search vs. Google Ad words? I've been trying to come up with titles & keywords that will rank high with google but now wonder if this will effect the Etsy relevancy side.
Gosh, I had to join the team after I found this discussion. I have DAYS with 0 views. I think my tags are appropriate, I have tried to bring traffic through fb but my fb page has little traffic to! If I had a few views a day it would be a relief, I only have 12 items. Is that the issue? It takes me a long time to make each thing so it will be a while before I can produce more.....
Geez Louise! It's crazy how much everyone's views vary...I only get 15-20 on average a day, and I've spent tons of time reworking my titles and tags....IDK what else to do!
