What would you pay..

...For the stuff in my shop. I want to make sure my prices are on pace. I've reduced prices on some items because I honestly wouldn't have paid that much for some of my items so I hated to try selling it for that much.

So, I would love to know if you would actually pay the prices I have listed. If not, what is a price you would pay? It would help if you picked an item you actually like and would consider buying (that way I could know what a customer's frame of mind would be). Thanks!!

Re: What would you pay..

I think you are about right on, if anything a bit low. I recently heard on here something I thought was great: "Your target customer is you, but richer!"

That was brilliant! It's true. People buying your items have the cash and want quality, handmade, and unique. I bet you'll get a boom in sales soon for your wreaths. Good luck :)

Amanda, that's a great way of looking at it!

Lauren, I think your prices are very reasonable. If anything, your original artwork, like the painting in your avatar, could go for higher.

Amanda, I LOVE that! Because it is totally true! Excellent concept.

I agree with everyone else Lauren, I think your prices look good, but definitely has room to go higher. I like to search similar items on etsy and price in that range. Best of luck!

I like your prices too and even think you could go higher a little bit. If you want more price critique, there are teams here on Etsy that do only that. Search for pricing teams.

When I first started selling, I noticed that the customers don't mind paying the right price for quality and uniqueness so, don't bring your prices down thinking you'll sell more because that's not the case, usually.

Re: What would you pay..

Thank you for your input!! I appreciate it. I definitely search for similar items to make sure I'm in the right range. I'm trying to pinpoint why I'm not getting views/selling much, so I was curious if it was my prices. Thanks for your help! I may up some of my prices today :)
