I've definitely noticed a pattern in the overall number of views I get on a weekday vs. weekend - about 20 during the week, anywhere from 40-60 on a Saturday or Sunday. My numbers have gone up steadily but I'm wondering what other shops tend to average. Am I doing well or do I need to work on bumping that number up even more?

Re: What's your average number of views per day?

My views for the past month have ranged from 50 to 350 on average. I did also have a 1000 view day & a 650 day as well at the end of Feb when a giveaway for one of my products went live on a pretty big blog. There doesn't seem to be any rime or reason to the regular difference in numbers though.

I probably get about half of my views from within Etsy. The rest come from things like blog mentions, my own blog, facebook, & google.

Re: What's your average number of views per day?

Lately it's been around 100 views per day. Before the holidays it was in the 200 to 250 range.

Mine about 60 - 180. Depends on whether I am also active in the forums or teams, making treasuries and so on.

Using proper keywords in your titles and tags will bring the views up a lot ...

SEO is really not that hard, it's just common sense. Look at your item like you see it for the first time: What is it? What color, material, potential use?

And describe it, putting the most important words FIRST in title. If it's a necklace, call it necklace! Any creative names, leave those for descriptions. When your necklace is competing with a thousand others, you want to stuff the title with descriptive terms that the BUYER might type in the search bar in Etsy or google. Long titles are great!

Now repeat all these keywords as phrases that customer might search for in your tags. Voila, that's it.
