What's wrong with me?

As a newbie to Etsy, I am open to all sorts of advice. I guess I'm just a little confused. I think I have nice pictures and products, but I can't seem to translate that into sales. I advertise on blogs, but other than that, I don't do much promotion.

Any friendly Estians have any advice for me and my shop? I'd really appreciate it!

@bobbinsandbits I'm in the same boat. I've given away coupons to my shop to people who liked my Facebook page, to people who posted to my blog, etc. and still no sales. It's totally frustrating. In my case, there are so many jewelers on Etsy that I feel that either my items are not up to par with everyone else's or is so far down in the lists that sales are going to the sellers ahead of me. I don't have very many views either. :(

Nothing's wrong with you! It takes a while to get noticed. And even then it doesn't mean anyone who notices you will need your product, but they will find you!

As for your photos: I know that I prefer to see pieces actually on a human. It helps me figure out size and scale. Like all your rings - the only time you see them close to a hand is in a huge pile which doesn't help me understand how big or bulky the ring would be on my hand.

your stuff is lovely and very unique. try renewing! that's the trick to getting 200+ views! it costs 20 cents per renew.

I agree: nothing's wrong with you. From what I'm reading on various team discussion threads, a lot of people are struggling these days. Keep working at it and don't give up.

I really like your shop, bobbinsandbits! I'm having a hard time figuring out something to suggest to you because I think you're doing a great job. One idea I have is to include "flower" and "flowers" as tags, as well as "headband" and "head band". You could also include "girl," "women," "mothers day," and "gift." I hope this helps!
