I'm currently working on an Owl hat in a teal colour! It seems to be taking me forever to finish though! I'm also going to make another bear hat in white where the profits will be donated to the SPCA or another animal orginization
I'm working on some Valentine's Day cards and prints, an updated version of my rugby print, an F1 print and booklet, art prints for kids and some organisation items like calendars, daily planners, family organisers etc.
Too many ideas - always been my problem, but I'm determined to ge these online as soon as possible. New Years resolution is: Just do it.
I am working on a couple of paintings that where inspired by the street art I saw in puerto Rico last month. I also am making some hand painted valentine cards with lovebirds on them. And of course always searching for stuff to repurpose or upcycled.
I am finally working on appliqueing Chinese characters!!! I'm so excited because I've been sitting on this idea for well over a year now! I just got the "dragon" character started in time for Chinese New Year on January 23, 2012!
I'm getting back to my equine and canine art after trying a floral piece just for the heck of it. :)
I've got two dog drawings in process right now. One is a portrait of my dog, Lars when he was a 5 week old puppy. I've been tinkering around with that off and on but it's not high priority. I just started a drawing of a border collie which I think will be cool. After the the border collie is done, I'm going to horses. I'll alternate between canine and equine subjects from here on out. :)
I had some ideas for valentine's hair accessories and starting to stock up on spring items. I also had an idea for a spring countdown. Going to work on that today I hope!
Almost finished with small Valentine's gift bags made from a vintage pink scarf, then there's a purse made from a vintage embroidered doily, then some more similar purses after that, once I've mastered the special techniques.
And more signs like my "Handmade is the New Black" sign. Also, some architectural wood stuff, like shelf/porch brackets that I've designed.
I am working on baby blankets for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. They always take longer than I expect when I start, but hopefully will be highly sought after when I am finished.
I've just finished some more Bib, Blanket and Card sets. I cannot believe I'm saying this but I'm also thinking Easter for my paper crafting. Working on some more DIY assemble yourself kits for the kids! The creative juices are flowing :)
I am working on my vintage hat section. I am restoring about 12 vintage hats to create my new vintage hat section for my vintage shop. It is a lovely work to do, I am learning a lot about materials and having creative ideas.
Wow, Josefina, that sounds creative and fun. I'm kinda envious, I was just thinking earlier today that I'd like to gain some restoring skills (though not hats!) It must be great to bring stuff back to life.
