I have just started mine, I have been sharing photos of work in progress, random updates about my day to show there is a person there! And also posting about my etsy favorites, favourite pages on facebook, and a daily inspirational art quote.
I also have it set up to tweet automatically whenever I post something. I try not to put too many new listings up as I think it seems really selfish. A pic of your latest listing is better in my opinion, just to show what you have made and if a fan likes it they can find it in your shop (link in your profile) or ask you more about it.
I like to try and imagine my posts appearing in other peoples feeds and what I would like to see :-)
Posting your page in teams is a good way you get exposure (again not in a spammy way....) and you can like other people's pages and get likes too. I have been marketing my page for less than a week and have 70 likes so I am finding it quite exciting!
Oh- something weird I found out a while back- if you want to 'like' someone's page, you need to do it from your personal page for it to count on their total. So make sure you are logged in correctly of you're sharing the <3 I then post on their wall as my page so they know where to find me if they want to see my page! (and anyone else on their page can see you too- so again don't leave a huge add, your name to click on with an interesting specific compliment on the page you are on should be enough)
A good way to get even more exposure is for pages to share other pages so their fans and friends can see and hopefully visit and like. Hopefully if you share someone's page they will return the favour! There is a lot you can be doing!! I think it can definitely be worth it though as lots of established pages say they get a large proportion of their sales through friends seeing them on facebook!
Wow sorry for long post and I am really not an expert, didn't realise how much I had learned in a week!!

There are also lots of facebook teams on here :-)
