What does "Reviewed by anonymous"come from in someones reviews

I have seen this in shops, some with several. Who is reviewing. Makes a shop look bad to me. Thanks, Debbie

Before they switched to the new review system, only the seller who the feedback was being left for could see who wrote it, so any feedback left under the old system now says 'Reviewed by Anonymous"

I know when you look at your own reviews, you can see a name next to every single one of them, but when I look at your reviews, from about halfway through the 3rd page on they all say "Reviewed by Anonymous" so your shop has it too.

We fought long and hard to have feedback be anonymous.
And then suddenly Etsy decided to turn things back and don't care about customer privacy anymore.
When you sell supplies, this will cost you a lot of reviews, since sellers don't want to reveil their supplies sources to other sellers.
And lots of other customers will not leave a review for privacy reasons either.
Anonymous reviews (names only visible to seller) make much more sense.
