What does it mean--more listing views than shop views?

Hi,

I was just looking at my shop stats, and saw that since I opened at the end of March, I have had almost 2,000 listing views, but only 280 shop views. I've had almost 60 sales, so I'm not complaining, but don't these stats mean that I have a high bounce rate???

If so, any suggestions?

Also, does that seem like a lot of listing views compared to sales?

Thank you,
Dawn

Hi Dawn,

Listing views is the views of each product, each means that your products page have been seen 2.000 times and your shop page 280 times.

If I'm wrong someone will help better :)

Bumping this topic back up to the top. I'm still not sure what these stats mean.

Thank you, Valerycj, for your reply.

Anyone else???

I think that means you have a rather low bounce rate!!
Assuming most people visit your shop listings going through your shop page, this means that on average people look at 7-8 of your items per visit.

I think I better improve on reducing my bounce rates... ever since upgrading to the new Etsy shop stats I have 4,396shop views but only 4,778listing views.. people are barely looking at my shop before leaving
