Jemima, I'd suggest that you do some research on other shops carrying items similar to yours. You are in a VERY popular area. Today on Etsy there are for sale:

9,000 hair ties
75,000 barrettes
330,000 headbands

Some shops have hundreds of items...so to make yours get attention, you will need to create an original product twist, and then promote outside of Etsy....on FB, Pinterest, Wanelo, etc...or on blogs (maybe do a product giveaway).

If you can connect with some blogs, you have a great story to tell, since you are so young...publicity would send traffic to your shop. Meanwhile, work on your descriptions: what size are your products, made of what materials, who are they for, what makes them special!

Now I'm no expert, but just by looking at your shop I would say to hunt down some babies for your headbands. Im sure you have heard of the saying 'sex sells"..well so do babies.. : ) now that ive made this all awkward..goodbye!! : ))

You need better pictures, descriptions, tags, titles and way more listings. Having headbands / barrettes on a model is a good idea however not completely necessary... just pictures that show exactly what the item is would be fine.

SEO needs work. Titles and tags should describe the item not how you think of it, but how a buyer would search for it. Titles and tags must have matching keyword phrases. If you want to get found in search you need to research SEO and make it happen in your store.

You are in a heavily saturated category. Look for some examples of items similar to yours and see how they are marketed. Then think of how you will market yours as unique and different from everyone else.
