What are your best sales day?

Hi. Since I've hit the 6 month mark, I was doing some sales analysis and saw a major pattern: the majority of my sales happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've done some research and brainstorming as to "why", but don't have anything solid yet.

Any idea why this may be happening? What are your best sales days?

I haven't had any sales yet but when I was in marketing I had heard that Tuesdays are the best day to send out "sale emails" announcing sales or coupon codes, etc. because people are more likely to buy on Tuesdays. Don't know why, but I just thought I'd throw that in there.

I do know I have more views and favorited items on Tuesdays so far. So far this Thursday has been a bust, worst views day yet. Not sure why.

I don't have much for sales on here, but with my ebay store it is Tuesday as well.

As noted by UB&CO it makes me realize that in my regular mail box at home, Tuesday is when I get most of the sale flyers. Maybe there is something to this Tuesday thing.

Just popping back in to say that the last few weeks it has by far been Monday and Tuesday. All sales have been on those days, and my views/favorites are also WAY above any other day and I'm not doing anything differently from the other days of the week, if anything I'm doing less on Monday and Tuesday because I have to kind of "ramp up" for the week.

I'm not sure about sales, but I get a definite spike in views and hearts on Thursdays... I have no idea why, lol.

I have been inactive for the last 6 months or so, but when I had a lot of activity I noticed my sales never occurred on the weekends, always mid-week during the afternoon. I just assumed it was a mid-afternoon "lull" at the office that had people browsing online :)

StudioEleven, your sales might be best on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because perhaps you are most actively updating your site on those days? The majority of my activity occurs in the late morning and early afternoon, which also happens to be the time that I am on the computer. I always list items during that time to get the East Coast buyers who are 3 hours ahead of me, and then I list again to get the West Coast buyers in my own time zone. Since I'm already at the computer, that's also when I edit listings, browse teams and create treasuries.

However, many of my sales are in the mid- to late- afternoon, when people are coming home from work or school, or maybe an hour or so after they have been browsing.

after being one year on Etsy we thought best sales days for us are Monday and Tuesday. But lately we can't tell you they are. It's difficult to find out a ratio as our sales numbers are not high enough.

Most of my sales come in from Monday-Thursday, in the late morning thru early evening, and then again late at night.

Mine have always been on Monday or Tuesday.  I don't have many sales so far though.
