Here's my tip: use StumbleUpon for your blog

I signed up for StumbleUpon to promote my shop, but I'm finding it's even better to use it to promote my blog. I submitted 3 pages and got 50 views instantly. Win!

Any more blogging tips?

Blog regularly, blog often, make it as easy as possible for your users to comment (no captchas!!), put a subscribe by email in the very top left or right column, and interact with your followers.

@cindy if you have the toolbar on your browser you can just go to your blog and click the thumbs up button.

I have a social bookmarking widget on my posts that allows me to just click the StumbleUpon button to add my posts.

@norma you can subscribe to a Wordpress blog through email, or just open up a post and fill out the comment form below it.

If you have some good pictures in your blog post you can also Pin it! I have had lots of luck with pinterest.

Join a blogging team !

I run one called the Interactive Blogging Team if anyone wants to join they would be more than welcome, we are for advice, promotion and also have started up a team blog http://www.etsy.com/teams/9104/interactive-blogging

I also think post regularly and put in lots of photographs and have regular features so readers know which days they will read what type of post

Blogging tip: Have a target audience in mind, think of what problems they face, and address those issues in your posts. It will give you highly valuable content for your audience, and create reader loyalty.
