What are your average views per day?

Hi everyone!!

I'm checking my shop stats all the time!! It's become a bit of an obsession....

I've noticed that the views have been steadily climbing, which is good, but I'm wondering - what are the average daily views that shops get? What should I be striving for?

I'd love to know what you all have to say!

Glad you asked it made me study number (which I don't care to do).

I looked at this month's stats.
Average shop views around 200 per day.
Average listing views from 800 to 1200 per day.

I run max ads and renew items hourly. Its paid off for me with 12 to 20 orders regularly with occasional days down to 2 to 5 orders.

Some of the reasons for # of views:
I have been selling online for 20 years so I have 30,000 hits monthly on my blogs--I link to Etsy from them. Google loves back links, so they really help too.

I have over 300 items and add new stuff daily. I understand quantity is important also.

@Robin Sampson, that's amazing! Not only the views you get but also the years you are selling online! Congrats. Any more tipps for newbies like me who do get only a few views a day?

I like your shop, cute hats.

My tips:

Have a blog, write 3-4 post a week.
Have Etsy mini on your side bar.
Give away free downloads or helpful information (I give away tons of stuff free, book excerpts, scrapbook stuff, ebooks, never regretted giving anyway freebies.
Have blog contests, give away prizes.
Leave comments with link backs on active similar blogs,

Be active on Twitter and Facebook.
Post daily- non commercial post like:
3 Inspirational quotes
2 Humor
2 Interesting photos
2 Fascinating links
2 Helpful links

OMG! You guys rock!
I'll be SOOOOOOO happy when I'll have an average over 100 a day.
So far for me, it's like roller coaster...some days it's really quiet...then the next I can end up with 80 views...really not steady...

Gotta keep working on my shop, especially try to add more listings!

Mine are honestly pretty good considering I have so few items in my shop right now. Anywhere between 100 and 200 is normal, sometimes I get into the 300s, and on the rare occasion that I'm on the front page, 1000.

I wish the 1000 one would happen more often! :)

I have 33 items, average 25-50 views a day. I need some more items, they just take time to make!

OMG what are you all doing to get so many views? Is is the amount of items in your shop? Please share. I thought I was getting a lot of views. I average about 100 a day, but after reading your comments now I am getting greedy.... I want more!

300 yesterday and 2 sales. 90 today and 1 sale. One day, 600 views and no sales! There really is no rhyme or reason.

I started listing a week ago and I have 80 items... I'm changing all my titles and tags because I seem to have gone about it the wrong way. Are titles or tags more important?

discouraged........8 times what they were last year and I'm working hard to get more items in my shop, but really ..I am very frustrated. 70 view one day last week. 50 today, but those are good days. Sales are practically nonexistent
I do better in Arts Festivals and galleries. Any suggestions are appreciated.

My god... I think I should close my shop and forget about it!
I have 0 to 5 views per day! I had 100 yesterday and since
it was a first time, I am looking around to see if I can make sence
of it!!!!!!!! Any of you can help and tell me what happend?

Feeling like a tiny fish here.
Still averaging between 20 to 40 views a day. I made it up to 80 once. It was nice :)

are you using all your tags? I did not see them in your shop. Honestly, I don't get as many views as some people here, but it if weren't for tags I would probably not get half of that.

Wow - I can but dream! I have been open nearly a month and am averaging about 100, I'm hoping once I work out the best way to promote I can increase that, need to work hard on tags that's for sure.

I must say that since I've reached 100 listings for our magnets, my views have increased.

In addition, I've been working to improve the descriptions of our magnets which has also started to increase my views. I was getting 8 or 9 views a day and have increased it to around 50 a day. My next goal is to work on the photos of our magnets because I know that will also make a huge difference. I really have to thank some of the Etsy teams I am on ( and a couple that I was REJECTED from ) for their teriffic advice! It's wonderful to work with such giving members!

Average for me is 25-50, I had two days where I spiked to over 150. I'm trying to add more items but between my two outside the house jobs, it's hard for me to get more than 2-3 new items actually photographed and posted a week. I have such a huge backlog right now!
