What are your average views per day?

Hi everyone!!

I'm checking my shop stats all the time!! It's become a bit of an obsession....

I've noticed that the views have been steadily climbing, which is good, but I'm wondering - what are the average daily views that shops get? What should I be striving for?

I'd love to know what you all have to say!

Wow... it's so great to know how well some of you are doing (8000 views!!!)... Knowing this information is definitely motivating me to continue adding items to my shop!

I was reading www.etsyprenuer.com yesterday and something that was written there really stuck with me: if you are walking into a shop and they only sell a few things, you'll look around and leave... but if you see lots and lots of goodies everywhere, you're gonna want to dig around and see what kind of treasures there are! (I don't know if it was actually worded this way but it's how I remember it.)

I don't really know if all of this information means that more views=sales or if lots of listings=lots of views. Based on all the comments here, it seems as if the latter is definitely true! And of course, at least generally, the more views you have means more traffic which will eventually mean more sales.

My goal is to double my views by the end of April! =)

I've had 5400 total views over the last 30 days. That is an average of 180 views per day. But some days it's maybe 70-80. If I end up in a lot of team treasuries and get promoted a lot, it's more.

I have been experiencing around 200 views each day with about 5 shop favorites and at least 10 favorites items each day. It helps to check out treasury lists and get into those circles. The question is: how many sales are you experiencing as a result of 200 daily views??? I am curious!!

Just want to say thanks to everyone for their support and in particular, julia, thanks for a great critique, I am acting on your suggestions as we speak. Actually I have just checked my shop stats for yesterday and I finished with 57, so I think i will take your advice and stick with it, leave the titles alone now and see how it goes. What a fantastic and supportive team. Thanks everyone.

This is a really interesting thread. I average 100-150 a day, I have 42 items in my store. I have lots to do to get my sales to a level that I'm happy with, I'm slowly learning that there is so much you can and need to do to get your items found!

Our average shop views are around the late 200 mark to 300, but actual item views and page views are usually around the 1000 mark.

Our record is 1025 shop views, with 4133 page views after one of our items (a Cowardly Lion hand puppet from The Wizard of Oz) was in the etsy finds letter.

Generally we've found shop views not that indicative of sales coming our way, but when the ration of shop views to item views are high we seem to strike it lucky (ie. 200 shop views with 1000+ item views).

Of course we'd trade 300 shop views for 50 shop views any day if everyone that came in bought something!

I've been getting 120ish a day. My SEO is pretty much in order. I'm brand new so I'm learning the ropes. They have been slowly increasing each day.

According to my shop stats last month I got the average of 480 views per day when the average from last year was "only" 260 a day.
BUT according to google analytics I got the average of 60 Individual visitors per day last month. Now I just have to figure out how to make all those people buy stuff :D

I am a total n00b, so I'm seeing about 4 to 5 page views a day....LOL pretty sad compared to everyone else.

Honestly, I don't keep track.

I go by the activity feed and who's fav'ing my items. Then I know what will sell with in the next few days. Generally, that's a pretty solid balance. for me.

I get 30 - 50 views per day - around 300-400 per week! eek! what am I doing wrong?
I have noticed that people tend to view my shop on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays more often than the other days.
Anyone else notice that?
I have been open for one year, have an average of 50-70 items for sale and have made only 179 sales, and have only 81 admirers.
I promote through etsy ads $5.00 per week budget. I have been in 29 treasuries.
I am not sure if my tagging is correct. I have a FB page to promote and occasionally post on Pinterest. So, why do some shops that have been open the same amount of time as me have 4 times the sales and admirers?
AM I missing some sort of promotion technique?
I would love to hear what everyone uses to promote and sell.

We tend to get somewhere between 50-100 a day. It all depends on if we are popping by our teams and what gets promoted. Christmas time, as you can imagine, we get a lot more than that.

Wow I guess something is not working with my shop. I only get about 5-10 a day, sometimes more sometimes less. But good job everyone you are all doing great! (even if you dont have as many views)
