Still working on christmas themed items here. We will probably shift our focus slightly before christmas to general winter themed stuff for a few weeks, and then go into spring inspired items around the beginning of February.
i'm with MrsPenny! working on new and exciting inventory. working on getting more professional business cards. trying to catch more eyes and sales. i'm selling more directly to customer just from wearing or showing folks my jewelry. can you mark an etsy piece as sold if you didn't do the paying process through etsy? if i could that would get me close to 20 sales. any help?
My biggest project as of yet is adding more items to my shop. Thankfully I don't have to worry about spring collections. I would love to work on getting some other collections started for my pendulums. I want to start a zodiac collection as well as Reiki/Chakra pendulums and expand my current collections. I don't know what the issue is but between finances and my suppliers taking 3 weeks or more to send me my things, my things being on back order, its just been an uphill, in the snow, still dark out, no shoes on, wolverines bitting at my ankles the whole way kinda situation. lol Its been like this for the past month or 2 so I'm hoping that will change soon.
I am working on taking pictures of new items to add to my shop. I have soap and yarn that are ready for sale. I am also working on making needle felted pin cushions. I am working on getting my inventory up to 50 items by the end of the year. I also shipped out 2 orders today, Yea!
I'm busy adding more items to my shop, but I'm also starting to think about the rest of the winter season (after Christmas) and what I want to do for the spring season. This will be my first spring with my shop, and I'm looking forward to it!
Natasha, I'm still working on Christmas/Hanukkah items, but I'm thinking ahead to Valentine's Day. Looking forward to making some beautiful pieces with **hearts**!! I wanna be READY so I won't wait too long to get started!! (I'd love to think about Spring...but I can't really think beyond Valentine's Day right now)
I realized that here on Etsy, the seasons are different mainly that our customers from the other side of the world have flipped seasons from ours, so I need to show all seasons in my shop. I do have a past season sale which benefits all those ladies in Australia but don;t forget , it's summer there.
I have 2 different craft fairs coming up next week so I've been a very busy bee. These little rings were very popular at my last craft fair so I've been trying to make as many as possible :)
I was stocking up and then sat. i sold 12 baskets and now i'm working on restocking as well as learning all there is to launch my shop over the web its easy to sell them in person but i want to do it on the internet so i'm trying to work on a little of everything while spending the night reading all the info and ways to promote and sell and etc'. I'm working at least 10 even 12 hrs a day. photos are still the hardest thing for me to do.
I'm so full of new, fresh ideas for spring; I could easily design 4 different collections (for my 2 shops). Tough I wouldn't have the time to give each line the full attetion it needs. - also because I'm expecting to deliver our second kid in march. So I have to be ready for spring/summer end of februari.. I'm working on a timeline, serious good planning and new workspace and will have to let go some nice ideas.
Feeling like 'oh, and there is also christmas..; should give that some attention in my blog from now'. In holland the biggest gift-event (sinterklaas) was last weekend. There are people who give gifts with christmas but I really have to make a mindswitch for that fact. From today there will be a run on christmas decorations tough.
