I've read threads about high numbers of views that don't make sense and people reply that it's from bots. I know I've had bots invade my shop a couple of times because I will have tons of views from my sold out items which isn't typical. Today I had double my average daily views all during midnight to 4am with a lot of those views being from sold items. So what are bots and what purpose do they serve? All I know is it's really annoying to have these worthless views show up.
I don't know if this has to do with bots, but my stats say I've had 68 views from search today, but when I look at the keywords I have actually only had 7 views from search today. That is extremely frustrating.
