What an absolute mess

I was excited to spend my $10 shopping on etsy today.  Started shopping around and within about 10 minutes I felt completely disgusted and just closed all the pages.

I was looking at women's quilted jackets.

The first three that I was considering I ran reverse google image searches on.  All three were being sold on Ali Express.  And for literally half the price. 

One of the shops was using random people's review photos from AliExpress as their photos...which seems beyond creepy to me. 

Anyways, if etsy can't be bothered to put in the effort to weed out fraudulent sellers, then how can they expect buyers to put in the effort to wade through this stuff to find quality pieces.  

An interesting and eye opening morning for me since I'm usually only focused on selling on etsy, not buying.  I knew it was bad, but not that bad.

Wow, that’s amazing. Great detective work. I’m curious . Did you ask the shop owner was this a handmade item from them? After the response I would let etsy know. 
Thats so unfortunate . We hand made sellers have it hard enough .
