Just to start want to say that the last 5 days have been the most successful I've had here, total of 10 items sold totaling almost $500 from just 425 total views. Not a huge success but I'm very happy and there's still today and Monday to go.

What did I do special for this weekend... Nothing! No discounts, no special search terms, no external promotions, no changes to any of my listings for over a month. Was not featured in any blogs or treasuries until last night (no sales of the featured items).

What's the "secret"... Dont know! Seems that having one or two items that are unique and dont get lost in the crowd do more to draw shop views than anything else. From there its just a case of offering something that the buyer wants at a price they are willing to pay.

54 sales as of now, shooting for 75 by Christmas..

I hear you on the unique items front. I like the unique and that's what I've tried to do to escape from my competitors. Plus I tend to purchase unique items myself.

Here's to you making 75! Hell I think maybe you could even hit 100 (that was my goal at the beginning of November for Xmas)

Congratulations Daniel! I like your strategy. Other than posting on these forums and in a couple of other teams, I haven't done much promoting either. Christmas card type items are popular right now so I'm doing well with search views (and I sold six items yesterday - though mine are priced about a 10th of yours!). I hope I can keep up the same momentum after the holidays.
