Weird 24 hours - from one extreme to the other

I've had a gut feeling since Monday that a sale was brewing. I could just feel it. I know a lot of shops get sales everyday but not mine. My last sale was last week, before that I think I waited two weeks. I felt very patient on Mon. & Tues. just knowing it was out there.

I've had a very frustrating past 24 hours - between finding out about a trademark issue with my shop name last night (posted in a separate thread) and a very frustrating day at work today.

I found three pennies in three separate spots during my travels today. I picked all of them up. Every time I picked one up I felt closer to that elusive sale. :)

I came home from work today, logged into my email and there it was. "Etsy Order Confirmation for: $16.00"

My fourth sale! I sold one of my sand dollar necklaces. I just listed it last week and it only had 7 views and 4 hearts.

Yay!! *happy dance*

I wonder how many sales I'll have before I stop counting my sales. lol

Great job! I wonder if lots of us would do this even if we didn't make money, just for the high of getting that elusive sale! Yesterday was good for me as well - I had just managed to make it into a Tophatter auction AND actually sell my product, and while I was enjoying that feeling I got a message on my phone that I had made a sale on Etsy - number 5 - and the wonderful person bought two items! I was on cloud nine! I had to hurry up and ship the items out this morning as we leave for Las Vegas tomorrow morning. I'm a bit worried about not working on my shop while I am gone, and today I feel a bit adrift because I can't really do anything before we leave. Oh well, getting away will be good and then it will be back at it even harder.

Yay Judy!!! I'm still waiting on my first sale. I wonder if it's harder to wait for the first one or harder counting the weeks between each sale... Either way it's not easy! Keep up the good work and I wish you many more sales.

I'm so happy for you. I don't think it ever loses it's thrill. In fact I just stopped forwarding my sale information to both my sisters with an email saying, "What? I can't hear you cuz I'm too busy working!!!"
It's a total thrill each time and I'm psyched for you!

I still get giddy when I have a sale. I doubt it will ever change ;)
