Watermarking - what do you think?

After reading some posts in the forums about people finding their photos on other sites and even other sellers here on Etsy, I went ahead and added watermarks to all of my photos. I know if someone really wants to remove it they most likely can but I figured it can't hurt to add it.

Can you take a look at my photos and let me know what you think? Are the watermarks a distraction in my photos?

Also, if you have any other critiques for my shop, please let me know!

Its not a huge distraction. Im not a huge fan of watermarks, unless the shop sells digital items like paper, or photographs. But if it makes you sleep better at night keep it. I don't think it will stop anyone from purchasing from your shop. Great items, like the pictures; some could be brightened up a bit tho. I would just add more items!!! Good luck!

I would separate this item into two listings since you have so few. Someone looking for the blue cape might miss it! good luck!

I don't think that having a watermark really helps any... It's not like your item can be re-produced, correct? Even if they did want to steal your design, the watermark wouldn't help very much.... Am I missing something on why/how they actually help?

I don't think it looks bad at all. However, if you're worried about your images being used, I recommend also reducing the resolution to as small as 570 pixels wide. That is how wide Etsy will show the photos, so any bigger just allows people to click zoom, then right click and save your image.
