Wanelo question

I know there are threads out there with info on wanelo but I can't find them. I signed up and posted two of my items on my list. Is that what your supposed to do? How do you get on the front page? Do other people pick?

All this technology confuses my completely right sided brain....AAAAAAAH!

Re: Wanelo question

Hi Lisa,
While I am quite useless on the topic of Wanelo still, I did manage to post my items there. I just joined the following team dedicated to information on Wanelo and promotion as well. There is a lot of information in the threads and you can ask questions as well.

Good luck!!

Re: Wanelo question

Brittany, it is a bit like pinterest where people have boards of things they like. Although it seems to be more geared towards sellers, as we are allowed to post our things. I hear some people have had great success with it. Me, I am just still trying to figure it out. :)

Re: Wanelo question

Laura, from what I gather, the more people save your items, the closer you get to the front page and "trending".

Re: Wanelo question

You have to make sure you use a lot of good key words. Then if people like your stuff they will save it. If enough people do your item trends and moves up closer to the front. So I would think on Wanelo, maybe even more so than on Etsy, your pictures are key.

Re: Wanelo question

Just like on etsy, worry more about your tags and the search vs. getting to the front page.

There is a place for tags when you post the item. I haven't figured out how to edit a post, so you have one shot at the tags. As far as I can tell, there is no tag limit.

Also, as lori said, good pictures are very important.

Re: Wanelo question

I would think Wanelo would be good in the mere fact you get a link or several links back to your Etsy site. Isn't it all about linking?

Re: Wanelo question

I found wanelo a couple of a days ago in a forum. How many "saves" are you finding you get for your products?

Also, whilst on Wanelo I saw a couple of Etsy home page regulars linking to Lullaa...does anyone know about this? I tried to sign up as a seller but it asked for a discount code - apparently you need this to become a seller, but have to be invited to join? I emailed support but no luck, does anyone know how this works or how to get a code?

Thanks,

Emily
