So I know there are people out there that swear by Pinterest for business. I've had a business account for a few months but haven't had a ton of success with it, besides a handmade jewelry community board that's had some success. I just came across this website called ViralWoot, and basically you can sign up and for $5 a month and you can have the pins of your choice promoted to thousands of people. You have to repin, like, or follow others in order to get "seeds" that are then used up when others do the same for you.
I just joined this morning and am trying out the free 7 day trial. Here are my stats so far:
12 new Pinterest followers
59 repins (of the 14 I submitted so far)
16 pin likes
5 views of my items from Pinterest
