Views on Sold Item

Yesterday I got 132 views on an item I sold over a month ago. It appears they all came from Direct traffic, not a treasury or anything. While I am always grateful for more views, I am curious about the amount of views. Does anybody have any ideas about why this would happen?

Re: Views on Sold Item

Once something is sold it doesn't disappear off the internet. It's still on google and wherever else you promote or someone else promoted it like Wanelo, Pinterest, Facebook, Stumbleupon, etc.

Re: Views on Sold Item

I get hits on sold items all the time - those are older links, and Google likes older links. Apparently, it got posted somewhere. Traffic is traffic, as far as I'm concerned. :P

Re: Views on Sold Item

Which is why it is a great reason to always renew sold and keep listings going. As long as you follow the TOU's of course.

Re: Views on Sold Item

someone may have used it on a blog post or pinned it to Pinterest. Sold item views are understandable in my handmade shop as you can usually make another, but a bit perplexing in my vintage shop. I guess I mean sold item favs not views..but I guess if you like it, you like it, sold or not!

Re: Views on Sold Item

I favorite sold items sometimes, because like Julia says "if you like it, you like it!"

Re: Views on Sold Item

Yes, sometimes views on sold items does happen. I see one pop up every now and then in my stats. It indeed sounds like someone posted your item on their blog or other site. Even though the item is no longer available, maybe it will bring traffic to your shop anyway? :)
