Yeah, I though about that, but usually when you are in a listing, the bottom only shows other things from that shop.. Its when you are in the search page that it will show you things from other shops.

^ this is all I could find in answers to shop stats too? Strange. I'd like to know how and why also? Maybe customer's purchased from another shop at a given time as purchasing from you??
Bohemian, <3 your shop. Neat Pig tee. Awesome little dragon illustration. Considered this year's Black Water Dragon. Very popular and so lucky. (grins)
It's because Etsy is testing out a new idea that (1) hides parts of our item descriptions and (2) puts a "see more" link at the bottom of our listings that wisks customers away to show similar items from other shops! NOT a good thing!
Check out the discussion on this exact issue and PLEASE voice your opinions and share your insights!
You will also get this kind of views if a listing has expired. Then Etsy will show similar items from the same shop first and below similar items from other shops. That's how you might have gotten views from another shop.
You're very welcome, Melissa! Etsy is also testing using unavailable listings (expired, sold, etc) to show similar items without even necessarily showing ANY items from the original shop... I'm pretty sure that discussion is also part of the link I posted earlier.
From what I've read, Minerva is right. When another shop has an item that's sold or expired, etc, Etsy shows similar items, first from the same shop, then from other shops with similar items.
